People often think of doctors and nurses when they hear the phrase "medical mission trip." But there are many other types of medical and non-medical professionals who can offer their skills during a mission trip in a foreign country. All that is required is a desire to go.
Medical mission trips can also be a great way for nursing and medical students to get hands-on experience in the medical field. They can learn new techniques and expand their knowledge while helping people in Latin America and the Caribbean regions. Medical mission trips are a great way to help bridge the gap for the poor and underserved populations to access medical care through our mobile medical clinics, nutrition, and well-baby programs as well as our community impact training programs. By providing much-needed medical care, volunteers can make a real difference in people's lives.
In addition, these trips offer volunteers a unique opportunity to learn about different cultures and customs. Trips can be as short as one week to 10 days, and there are opportunities for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. If you are interested in participating in a Medical Mission Trip, there are still openings for many of our future Mission Trips. Head over to (2023-24 Mission Trips) page to get started.
